The pursuit of ageless beauty was once available only to a privileged few. Not only were cosmetic procedures expensive, but the “down time” associated with them was prohibitive for most of us. Now, more and more people are turning to noninvasive cosmetic rejuvenation techniques to make sure that their face mirrors the way they feel inside.

What is Botox and its benefits?
Botox is a brand name given to the purified form of a neurotoxic protein called botulinum toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Its diluted form is used in cosmetic medicine for improving your various skin problems. It’s popular for its skin benefits which help to improve and rejuvenate your skin and make your face look much younger. For cosmetic treatments, botox is gaining wide popularity for its ability to correct your forehead creases, frown lines, bunny lines on nose, crows’ feet around eyes, eyebrow lift and jaw lift, depressed angle of mouth, facial wrinkles, and gummy and fading smile. Botox is also used to treat many non-cosmetic conditions like uncontrollable eye twitching, migraine headaches, cervical dystonia and excessive sweating.
How does Botox work?
Botox treatment works by shortly paralyzing your skin muscles or simply blocking the movement of certain nerves. This procedure helps your muscles to look smooth and prevent their contraction or the development of any spasm. In this manner, your wrinkles relax and fade out in some days. And, when the signs of wrinkles begin to reappear, the treatment may be repeated (which is generally 5 to 6 months after the first sitting). However the longevity of botox effect increases with each subsequent sitting.
Botox procedure does not require any anesthesia. A small quantity of this diluted protein is injected into the affected muscles of the face using a very fine needle in order to minimize discomfort and maximize accuracy. The whole procedure takes just a few minutes. Botox treatment is absolutely safe provided you get it done from certified experts. However some short term side-effects like headache, flu-like symptoms, drooping eye lid, nausea etc may be noticed, which are usually temporary, self-limiting and don’t require any treatment.

Dermal Fillers Treatments :
If you want to maintain the youthful condition of your face, enjoy plumper lips, exaggerated shallow contours (body edges) and decreased facial creases and wrinkles; then dermal fillers are the right treatment for you. They are also famous with the name of ‘Liquid Facelifts’ as they provide some wonderful benefits of a surgical facelift in a very short span of time. These fillers help by adding more volume to the treated area. However, this cure is not permanent. So, you may need to take repeated sittings of this procedure in order to stay beautiful for a long time.
